Are the greenies getting soft?

Is it me or have the greenies been soft lately? There have been more than a few instances lately where I figured a good old fashioned banning was due and them what wield the power just edit and move on. In one case even the whining about being censored is just ignored. I know I have been banned for less.
Is the spirit of non-denominational winter holiday upon them or is this a new policy from above?

I'll tell you that in my personal case my "give-a-shit" meter is pretty broken when it comes to some people.

It's going to have to be something against somebody else (meaning not me) and it's going to have to be what I consider to be a direct violation of the rules. I'm basically just sick of the bullshit whining from people.

Having been on DZ.com since May of 2000 and having met a number of the Greenies in persons (and jumping with them), I'll say that it appears that their ability to simply care in regards to some people has waned. Some people are assholes to simply be assholes and trying to push the mod's buttons for no real reason at all. I'm sure it really gets old.
