justinb138 0 #1 October 27, 2005 Any one know where I could get a set of Type 17 risers made with the standard size rings? (Not mini rings!). I've been looking for a set but haven't been able to find anything.

councilman24 37 #3 October 27, 2005 As far as I know nobody has ever made them that way. For the most part you can put type 17 mini ring risers on large harness rings, if that's the issue.I'm old for my age. Terry Urban D-8631 FAA DPRE

I know, I'd just prefer the large rings if they're available. I feel that the type 17 risers are easier to grab, and I've got large rings on my rig. Bill Booth once stated that using the mini rings on the standard harness rings made the riser geometry out of spec. Just about anyone who makes risers could make some for you.
