I've been paying payroll taxes to the FED AS well as NYState for 40 years now... Plus THEN i pay property tax on our home,,,, property tax, on some acreage, property tax on some rental places we used to own,, ( Got outta THAT idiocy, back when things were waaay better than today ) plus gasoline tax, sales tax, payroll tax, DOUBLE soc security TAX,, since i'm self employed, and Have to MATCH the S SEC taxes,, since i am also the employer..so... yes... you DO have a good plan ,, and DZ's have always been welcoming to those like you, who are quiet, harmless, know when and HOW to "pitch in" and have the flexibility to "pick up and GO,,, if need be.. Sure thing... NYState is bad and getting worse... However there are LOTS of nice PEOPLE who live here... many of whom are Toooo entrenched to easily "up & go "... it's good fortune for you... that you can do that... have fun,,, safe travels,, only please don't be grousing later on that "It's Too Hot and Muggy " all the time..jmy Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
