My Poptart Review...

Recommended Posts

For those of you who didn't know, I never had a poptart before...

I received a pack of Frosted Raspberry Kellog's Pop tarts a couple of days ag o, and now I'm taking the step of tasting them...

Opened the pack, read the manual. Decide to toast one. Doesn't look very "natural" or european... What do they mean by "lowest or lightest heat setting" ?? Keep the setting to how I like my bread toasted. Smells good though.

Man this is hot when it jumps out of the toaster. Thats why they wrote "cool briefly before removing pastry from toasting appliance" and "extremeley hot, could cause burns"

Looks chemical, tastes a bit chemical... But man, that's good... I think I can eat alot, till I'm disgusted.

People from Europe, them Americans have good stuff to eat. POPTARTS

Thanks Sioux

Try the Frosted Strawberry PopTarts. You knwo you're hooked when toasting them is too long of a wait.
Try washing it down iwth a Cherry Coke. :P Breakfast of Champions.

must find an american food store... It's like looking for a cheese shop in the US :|

Next step is try one in the microwave, and anotherone "just out of the box"

Cherry Coke ?? No way. :|

Eat enough American food and when you die, the preservatives keep you looking nice forever. :P

My wife Valinda has a severe allergy to the sulfites used here as a presevative in wines. In your country, home to some of the best wines in the world, no sulfites, no problems. Go figure.:S

Now I feel kinda bad since the reviews seem to be that cinnamon, blueberry, s'mores AND strawberry are better than raspberry. I looked for a variety pack, but couldn't find one.

But, no matter what, frosted is the way to go.

okay, gave a try to the "out of the box" while editing Flying Cows VI or whatever the title will be... And falling asleep on the table (to do it your style)... Preferred toasted. "Raw" would be good to wait for the rest to come out of the toaster. :D

edited to add a big warm hug from the other side of the Röstigrabe (already laughing at how english speakers will pronounce this one) :D:D

Chocolate is good because you've got chocolate "pastrie" (using that term loosely!) on the outside AND chocolate filling. YUM! That's more of a desert pop tart. The brown sugar cinnamon is more suitable for breakfast!:P

Because of this thread, the next time I'm at the grocery store, its going to be really really difficult to keep the pop tarts out of my cart! :$

Yes... Today I bought Cookies 'n Cream poptarts for the first time. Usually I like strawberry, chocolate, or brown sugar and cinnamon ones.
