My mom has arthritis in her feet and swears by them. And, depending on the colors you choose, some look just like regular runners.

yup, i was a bit shocked at that, but thats a "normal" pricetag for a decent brand shoe around here.. rather expensive anyway, but might be worth it!?

the colors are not all that bad, its just the shape of the shoe that looks kinda strange..

If you have foot/leg/hip/back problems they are worth their weight in gold. I know of at least one person who was considering surgery to relieve the pain associated with a leg/hip/back problem on Dr.'s advice. The shoes drastically reduced the pain and allowed for normal activity again within a few weeks.

I walked around in a pair in the shoe shop just to check them out. They are definitely weird looking but are comfortable as can be. If you don't have/need corrective shoes, they may be hard to justify as they run in the $300 range. On the other hand, if you do have foot/leg/hip/back problems the relief they provide outweighs the cost I am told.

so the experience with them is all positive so far.

my left kneecap didnt grow the same speed as the joint, so if i put a lot of stress on it for an extended time, i feel that. i think i have to get a pair..

Been using them for two years. They've really helped strengthen my ankles.
