Pokerstar 0 #1 December 28, 2008 I went skiing today for the first time in about 25 years, and had an absolute blast! I did learn a few things though... 1) The newer skis are amazing, and turn so much easier than the old planks I used to have! 2) The balance and reactions came back to me pretty quickly 3) I had to 'unlearn' the old way of turning and let the new skis do the work 4) No matter how often you flash (man-boobs) at the lift operators you get no extra altitude 5) I seriously want to go again soon! I had a blast!Fortunately, I'm adhering to a pretty strict, uh, drug, uh, regimen to keep my mind, you know, uh, limber. --- The Dude ---

Try skiing, the new skis are amazing! i tell you a secret now: when i started snowboarding i did a week course. i think after three or so days, i went to the slopes with a cushion stuffed into my trousers.. i dont know if you know the brand, but i also bought a pharmacy empty off the dul-x they've had. some stuff to sooth your muscles.. yea, the new skis promise to be fun! “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S.
