Sometimes People Surprise You

So this morning just before I left work my boss walked in and he was in a pretty good mood. I decided it was the best time to tell him about my new job and moving (if you don't catch him in the right mood things can go very badly).

I explained that at the end of January I would be going to part-time because of my new job. He just kinda nodded his head.

Then, I told him that in May or so I'd be moving to Florida and leaving completely. He just looked at me and said, "You gotta do what you gotta do." We started talking about things and he's actually very happy for me on both accounts.

I love it when I expect something to go badly and it ends up being the complete opposite.
So that's my happy thought of the day.
