I have a 3rd or 4th cousin that has actually went as far as publishing a book on our family. It took her almost 20 years to put it all together. Lots of interesting things in it. The thing that stood out most was that, that part of my family has owned a LOT of Pubs and Inns. Seems we were a very addictive lot as far back as we can find. Then there was the huge castle in England that fell out of the family at some point. Probably drank themselves into debt and had to sell it to pay off bills.
