I guess it wasn't clear that I've already done the session. It *was* fun even though I felt like a bit of a wimp at times. But I'm really looking forward to going back on Thursday. I am glad you had fun with your trainner this morning...I was told by my PCP to stay out of the gym for 1 yr from the last knee surgery and then to only use the elliptical machine. Then he gave me the "you should take up golf" spill...He didn't seem to happy with my knee at that visit and seemed to give the impression knee replacement is in the very near future and not further down the road like I thought...TPM Sister#130ONTIG#1 I love vodka.I love vodka cause it rhymes with Tuaca~LisaH You having a clean thought is like billyvance having a clean post.iluvtofly

That sucks. Have you talked to someone who is a bit more into sports medicine who maybe could prescribe some physical therapy? Telling you to do nothing for a year seems wrong. I was told by my previous ortho/therapist/ and PCP only basic strengthening. No impact activities. I can only ride a bike on flat roads, swim and walk(no more than 15 minutes per day for the first year).TPM Sister#130ONTIG#1 I love vodka.I love vodka cause it rhymes with Tuaca~LisaH You having a clean thought is like billyvance having a clean post.iluvtofly
Nightingale 0 #29 January 20, 2009 In the last year, I've lost around 40 pounds, started working out, taking vitamins, and am within 5 pounds of my goal weight. I wear a smaller size now than I did in high school. I went from wearing a size 14 to a size 6. On the downside, I had to buy an entire new wardrobe, because nothing I owned before fits now except my jumpsuit! On the upside, shopping is a lot more fun.
