USPA posts my mug!!

Recommended Posts

Me and 2 of my buddies are on the home page of USPA.org...from Left to Right, Colt Hinchman, David Wagner, and Me (John Nelson). That shot was Colt and my first fun jump after obtaining our A-License!!

Sorry, just felt kinda happy to see our picture on there...though 3 years old.

Not a stab at you...but the only reason that is falsified is b/c I had some questions to ask and didn't wanna get harrassed about asking back when i had so few jumps. Since then i have never changed or updated my info...but damn, I post one thing and both responding posts snare on my info...yet any of my other posts, my jump profile is NEVER mentioned...one of the many reasons why people turn away from this forum.

Yeah, but that's a problem too. The responses to your questions would be tailored to your jump experience if we knew what that was. Depending upon experience, the answers can be different, and the amount of technical jargon vs. simple explanations will vary.

So it's easier to just say it like it is. List your jump experience as is, but don't be afraid to ask questions because of that. There are plenty of people who will be willing to help you out. We just need to know your experience, so we can give the best advice for where you're at, in a way that you can understand it.

Thank you for not taking offense to that...for starters. Now to add, I've been around the forums long enough to know the people willing to help are way too outnumbered by the ones who IMMEDIATELY answer with"search it" or "get more jumps". I've got around 500 jumps now, started jumping 3 years ago, and am assistant DZO at my DZ now...now u have my true credentials, but until I have the jumps or years in the sport to not be haggled by the godliest of gods, ill keep those credentials like they are. Once again thank u for not taking offense, and hope u take this the same way.
