billvon 3,111 #1 October 10, 2005 There's plenty of data out there on the PD126 on actual size (137 sq ft) and pack volume (~296 cu in) but I haven't seen anything independent on the Smart 135 yet. Their website says 333 cu in. Has anyone had a chance to compare these two canopies yet in terms of their pack volume?
nicknitro71 0 #2 October 10, 2005 Yes, The PD 126 packs bigger, not a lot but it's noticable.Memento Audere Semper

Vectracide 0 #5 October 15, 2005 Hey Billvon, I called PD and Aerodyne myself when building my new rig. I was told that Aerodyne measures the bottom skin uninflated, and PD measures the top inflated. So basically they are damn close to the same canopy when comparing comparable sizings. Dunno if this helps.....but that is all I got. ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate.....
