Super Bowl Ending...

Recommended Posts

I'm a Dallas fan, so don't go yelling at me about the Cardinals blah blah blah...

The end of that game was a fucking joke. Should have been reviewed. Woulda moved them closer, and actually had a worthwhile shot at a great ending.

/So disappointed
//Not surprised at shitty officiating.

It may not have been reviewed by the ref, but the replays we saw and the replays the guys in the booth would have seen, showed that the Steelers defensive player got his hand on the ball before Warner's arm was moving forward.

I was pulling for the Cards, but I must admit that as a Cowboys hater I'm not upset that Cowboys fans must STFU. Good luck having the record for most Super Bowl wins.

However, I still must say that had it been Oakland - and not the Steelers - the Tuck Rule would have overridden it. I'm just glad it was a good game.

The uneccessary roughness call on Pittsburgh during the Cards punt was, in my worthless opinion, the biggest blunder the refs made the whole game. Not only did they call it as happening after the ball changed possesion when you can clearly see players in the background still looking skyward (in the replay) but it was far more than just uneccessary roughness, it was assault. The guy was being punched in the back while he was on the ground and completely removed from the play. I can't recall the Steeler who was involved, but he should have been ejected from the game and the ball given back to the Cards, 1st down, and 15 yard penalty on Pittsburgh.

The ball changes possession once it leaves the punters foot IIRC...that's why the punting team can 'down' the punted ball, but not advance it.

It's in there somewhere, but I can't find it. But yeah, that fucker should have been ejected from the game. That was just flagrant.

I stand corrected.
The bugger still needed ejected, maybe even deserved a fine.
