(about 1.5 days) It may very well be partially frozen still, depending on your fridge temperature. I'd pull it out, fill the sink with really fucking hot water, then put the chicken in it and let it soak for at least an hour, just to be sure. Pull the chicken out of it's original packaging and place in large freezer bags. If you're going to marinade it, this is the time to do it. Put the marinade in the bags with the chicken, then close and let sit for a few hours. This is all my personal preference...Some people refrain from beating a dead horse. d_squared431 0 #6 February 1, 2009 You can use tap water to help defrost it. Do not use hot water. Might take about an hour or so to defrost. Get a big pot and let the water run on it. Then let it sit in the pot.TPM Sister#130ONTIG#1 I love vodka.I love vodka cause it rhymes with Tuaca~LisaH You having a clean thought is like billyvance having a clean post.iluvtofly

Throw the sucker fully frozen in a pan on medium heat with a little oil and garlic and in 5 minutes it's thawed. 10 more minutes and it's a tasty treat.Owned by Remi #? tigra 0 #22 February 2, 2009 Who told you a chicken breast needs to be thawed for 3 days? That's crazy! I mean- a whole turkey might take 2 days to thaw in the fridge but pieces of chicken?? If I left that in the fridge for 3 whole days, I would think twice about eating it. eeeewwwww Most meats don't take longer than a day to thaw in the fridge. Take if out in the morning and cook it that night!

I've always used hot water. Makes marinading go faster as the meat absorbs the marinade faster when warm. Although, the whole bacteria thing should be a problem if you actually cook your food.
