Cashmanimal 0 #3 February 4, 2009 Recently discovered the DJ "Mirwais." In particular, the song "Disco Science" tickles my fancy. The whole album makes nice cruisin music..... I'm pretty sure Disco Science was on the Snatch soundtrack. Kings of Leon also appears to be exploding onto the scene... I don't mind 'em too much, another good download if you don't already have 'emIt's all fun and until someone loses an eye... then it's just a game to find the eye

bluepill 0 #7 February 4, 2009 The Album: Solid Air by the late great John Martyn. The lyrics to the song Solid Air are: You've been taking your time And you've been living on solid air You've been walking the line And You've been living on solid air Don't know what's going wrong inside And I can tell you that it's hard to hide when you're living on Solid air. You've been painting it blue And you've been looking through solid air You've been seeing it through And you've been looking through solid air Don't know what's going wrong in your mind, And I can tell you don't like what you find, When you're moving through Solid air. I know you, I love you And I could be your friend I could follow you, anywhere Even through solid air. You've been stoning it cold You've been living on solid air You've been finding that gold You've been living on solid air I don't know what's going on inside I can tell you that it's hard to hide When you're living on Solid air, solid air. You've been getting too deep You've been living on solid air You've been missing your sleep And you've been moving through solid air I don't know what's going on in your mind But I know you don't like what you find When you're moving through Solid air, solid air. I know you, I love you I'll be your friend I could follow you, anywhere Even through solid air. You've been walking your line You've been walking on solid air You've been taking your time But you've been walking on solid air Don't know what's going wrong inside But I can tell you that it's hard to hide When you're living on Solid air, solid air. You've been painting it blue, You've been living on solid air You've been seeing it through And you've been living on solid air I don't know what's going on in your mind But I can tell you don't like what you find When your living on Solid air, solid air. I know you, I love you And I'll be your friend I could follow you, anywhere Even through solid air. Ice blue solid air Nice blue solid air BP

Thanatos340 1 #12 February 5, 2009 Look for "No Talking, Just Head" The Band went by "The Heads" It was basically the Talking Heads without David Byrne. They have different singers on each track including Debbie Harry, Johnette Nepolitano, Ed Kowalczyk, Gordon Gano and others. Great Music.
pinkfairy 0 #13 February 5, 2009 Biosphere, The Opiates, Aphex Twin, Venetian Snares, Filur are some of my favourites right now. This is all electronic, some of it is ambient (Biosphere), some of it is pretty noisy(Venetian Snares) and some of it is just pop (Opiates, Filur). I also like Beady Belle: Viscous Ocean, I'm not that enthusiastic about the rest of the album, though. Also check out some free podcasts, I liked the interview with Dan Poynter on Skydive Radio, and there's a great, british science podcast called "The Naked Scientists" that you should check out if you're into that kind of stuff. Relax, you can die if you mess up, but it will probably not be by bullet. I'm a BIG, TOUGH BIGWAY FORMATION SKYDIVER! What are you?
