ROTFLMAO!!!Waaayyy back when I got into a bunch of cc dept, I just got PO'd and threw the cards in a drawer and left them there until it was paid off. Once the debt was gone and I started using them again, I just pretended they were all like the traditional AmEx card: payment required in full every month. I never charge anything unless the money is in the bank to pay for it. The only exception was when I graduated from college, and was moving to my first permanent job, getting an apt, etc, I had to float a couple months debt until the paychecks caught up. I currently have a Discover, a MC, and an AmEx. I pay them in full every month, and haven't paid interest on any in years. (And all three give a cashback percentage.) And AmEx has been outstanding in taking care of two issues in the last month: First one was a clueless merchant who would not refund charges for something they never shipped; Second was fraudulent charges from a crook. BTW it is nice to hear there is at least one decent debt mgt company out there.
