We have ended stage one of the world tour.
We traveled from San Fran to Seattle to Vancouver to Seattle to San fran to Chicago to Toronto to Niagara falls, to New York, to Washington DC, to Miami. Then we hired (rented) a car and drove from Miami to the West Coast
I drove 3780 miles and didn’t kill anyone or damage any vehicles. We drove from Miami to Sebastian then to Zephyr Hills. From Zhills we drove to Tallahassee, Layfette LA, then to Sonora TX, then to Eloy Arizona. From Eloy we drove to Sedona then to the Grand Canyon, then to Zion National Park in Utah. From there we drove to Las Vegas, from Vegas we drove to Lake Ellsinore then drove about Los Angeles for a few days.
Along the way we have seen some sites which were interesting and some which were awe inspiring.
Looking back over the last 6 weeks a few things stick out in my mind the most. One thing is the beauty of the Grand Canyon and Zion Park, these two natural wonders are a must see, they were awesome. The snow in the North West was also amazing and beautiful. But the thing that sticks in our minds the most is the wonderful hospitality that has been shown to myself and Mrs Squeak.
We would like to say a special thank you to:
Valinda and John Mitchell and family, you guys opened your doors to 2 strangers and made us feel like a part of your family at Christmas. Both Mrs Squeak and I were/are humbled by the generosity and kindness shown to us by your family.
Thank you also to Amazon and Ms D, Mrs Squeak and I loved the time we spent with you guys in the snow in and around Seattle.
To Jenr8r, you also made us feel special by taking us into your home and allowing us to experience DC life from your eyes. Both Mrs. Squeak and I will be looking to learn more dancing when we return home.
A special thank you also goes out to those people who took time out of there lives to come and say hi to us, we appreciated it, as it made us feel very welcomed here So thank you to Krisanne, Sean, McBeth, Orly, Gonzo, Seabass, Dana, Deedy, and Wendy, SBS, Peter Shankman, Scarlett (love your cooking sweety), Shermie and Holly, GaryRay (Gayray) and to SUDSYFIST (my brother from another mother) you is DaMan my friend. (A special sorry to AggieDave and LisaMarie, next time guys)
Lastly a special thank you to LisaH, you are a star, thank you so much for spending time with us and showing us around and allowing us to take over your home with our collective crap.
To anyone I may have neglected to mention I do apologies this has been a whirlwind visit with many things seen and many people met.
Stage two is just beginning as we sit at the airport awaiting our flight to Mexico.
Hasta la vista USofA

You clearly missed the point of hiring a car.

The difference between a rent-a-car and a Jeep is a Rental will go anywhere and you don't have to remove the empties from the back seat when you go home.

Me three! And I even gave them a ride back to their hotel after dinner! (Just teasing....not an issue.)

I think you're on the thank you list as Orly. Squeakers never could spell well. :D

It was great seein' ya again and gettin' ta meet Mrs. Squeak. Wish I had a little more time than just a couple hours, but definately better than nothing.:)
Also, thanks for lunch in San Fran... Like I told ya there... I'm buyin' next time.;)

I didn't get any tim tams...:(

Then again, the advanced notice I gave you consisted of, "Hey man! I'm at the airport! What are you doin' right now? Lets go eat.":D

Yup. Good to meet you, and enjoy Mexico. Your assignment is to write a 2-page composition "what I did on my holiday."
