popsjumper 2 #51 February 7, 2009 Quote Actually John, that's a POS Wal-Mart bike. Can't say anything about your experience, but that bike is a piece. So...that's why you passed him on to #3? My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. Falcon5232, SCS8170, SCSA353, POPS9398, DS239
akarunway 1 #52 February 7, 2009 Quote Allow my to expand while I have the rwo minutes to breath and I am doing yet another one of my job functions in a different building. Basically I have been busier than a one legged man in an ass kicking contest. With my job every task have a painful amount of paperwork, due to the fact that I maintain biocontainment systems. The one thing that I have been running out of time to do is putting the RMW bags in the RMW cans, which 2 out of 3 janitors have no problem puttting in. When I have 30 cans that neeed bags is is more than a 2 second thing. As I said I typically do this. Lately due to a massive headache of a decontamination progect my co worker and I have been insanly busy. We were actually able to complete the progect, and only missed 2 work orders. Which were actually due to parts being on order. The amount of time it took him to come and find me to say that I needed to put the bags in the cans was much less than the amount of time that he would have taken to put the bags in the cans himself. If I had one more hour each day to do everything it would all be done, but they don't want to give me the OT, so there is that. The people in the Union would actually talk to me if I did work for free, so I don't even want to stay late. Now one thing I really like is this yesterday one of my other co workers who actually knows how heavy my workload has been actually asked me if he could mop the autoclave room for me. I was greatful for that. Now that I am done with my bitch session its time to innoculate some spore strips. You're so busy yet you have time to bitch here. Could have spent that time putting in a trash bag. I hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all. Radiance 0 #57 February 7, 2009 "You need to...." told to me by someone other than my boss...usually told to me by one particular co worker who is trying to pawn something off on me that she should be doing. Luckily, I think I have perfected the angelic smile while completely disregarding what she has to say. We should not let our fears hold us back from pursuing our hopes. -- John Fitzgerald Kennedy. Elisha 1 #58 February 7, 2009 Some friends of mine have a sign on their refrigerator that says, "Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part." I kinda have mixed feelings about it. I agree with the sentiment, but is seems an excuse to be inflexible to deal with situations that may come up. But if the sentiment can be spread to those that may not be prepared, such that they can be better prepared in the future, then I guess it is a good thing.
