Help Needed - Searching for Debby Wharton

Recommended Posts

Don't know if anyone can help, I'm new to DZ.com and it was suggested that The Bonfire was the best place to post.

I am trying to find Debby Wharton, used to be Manager of Lake Wales and was there at least up to 2005. Any help anyone can give me (either posted or privately) will be greatly appreciated.

For those interested, my Mother used to jump there, she died (cancer) two months ago and I have something from her for Debby.

Once again, any leads at all, I can follow them up.
Thanks

I'll give you a heads up. It probably won't happen.

That is because, sometimes, the target does not
wish to be found. So, I hope that policy continues.

Here is my suggestion: Email or telephone
the dz and give them your contact info.
They can pass it along if possible.

Ok? That would be a good process.

(Sorry if this sounds a little cynical, but this is the internet.)

Thank you and I understand the reasons for your post. I have e-mailed the DZ and am waiting on a reply from them.

If I could just ask, if anyone knows where Debby can be contacted and are willing to let me know, I promise to keep all information confidential. Or, if you know and could let her know that I am looking for her that would work too.

Again, many thanks
C

Ok, I'm still searching. I e-mailed every DZ suggested, the only people I heard back from were at Skydive Greene County (thank you to them). They said they would call Debby but I still haven't heard anything so I don't know if it happened or not.

Please, can anyone help me? Give me any further advice on what to do, where to look?

You're doing everything you can. Really. I don't know Debby or anything, but I'm sure you're really committed to finding her for your mother's sake.

But you're doing everything you can.

There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. (tbrown)
