Sounds you don't like to wake up to...

Recommended Posts

So this morning I awoke to a very unpleasant sound. I live on the first floor of a 3 story house. My car is parked beside the house just off of the alley way.

I was woken up by the sound of 2 chunks of ice falling off the 2nd floor roof, onto the 1st floor roof and then onto my car. I should have expected something like this to happen considering it's been in the 40s the last couple days. But when I walked outside and saw the size of the ice chunks I was grateful there was no damage to my car.

Attached is a picture of one of the chunks of ice. There were 2 that were pretty much the same size. I put my foot next to it so you can get a better idea of how big these chunks were.

No damage to the car. And make all the jokes about my slippers you want. They're comfy and keep my feet warm. :P

Mine look like Tigger.

You are so going to love Florida.

You got the slushy ice, make some Margaritas.

So . . . just to get this right . . . you stepped on a cat and it shat a piece of ice THAT big . . .
I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama
