Joaquin was a train wreck!!
David made unibomber references and other remarks about his appearance and demeanor.

Joaquin is on some good shit! I guess he will need that retirement from acting after this interview.

I havent watched the show for a while but I've seen when dave is pissed at his guest. Remember the Paris Hilton thing?

The little smiles Joaquin had to fight back were the secret. Everytime he smiled he looked down and forced them away.

I thought Dave was pretty witty about the whole thing. Phoenix just looked like he was going through the motions of appearing, plugging his flick on Letterman because he had to. I especially liked Dave's statement about apologizing to Farrah Fawcett. I guess Joaquin now holds the title for spaciest gueat?

Act or no act it was brutal to watch. I was just waiting for David to rip him a new asshole, but he just took pot shots at him that were really good and deserved.
