Need chutes that are no longer sky worth

Hi!
Our youth group needs a few parachutes that are no longer flight worthy. We would be happy to purchase them, or would really appreciate donations.
We meet in a high school and we'd like to use them as backdrops to focus attention on our stage area and create a less sterile feel.

Please let us know if you have any old chutes available! :)

I'm sure you'll get quite a few replies offering both rounds and squares.

Before you accept any, please consider how flammable nylon is. I'd discourage you from using parachute fabric near any heat source, including stage lighting.

Also try Ebay. Old rounds regularly come up for sale at low prices on there.

Contact Bob Celaya at the California City Skydiving Center; 760-373-2733. He may have some old rounds willing to sell cheap. However... please also check with your local fire marshall given the warning regarding the flammability of parachute material noted above.
