OK so here's my steak and BJ day story. My girlfriend at the time (now my wife) decided we should celebrate this great holiday. All the plans were made at least a week in advance. She was going to take me out to dinner then back home for the fun part. But me being the stupid guy that I can be decided to go out with the guys for a beer or 2 after work. I just skipped the beer and went straight for the screwdrivers, BIG MISTAKE!!!!! Needless to say my friend had to drive me home that night. Once I got home they really hit me and within minutes I was praying to the great and powerful porcelain god. I stayed there for hours. and my wife was NOT a happy woman. So this year with the greatest holiday again rolling around the calendar it is highly unlikely that we will be celebrating it all because I can be stupid sometimes. So the moral of this story is don't piss off your SO if you like a good slab of beef and a BJ.

Ambassadorship? they have to talk right? Sounds like the wrong "job" for me. Somehow I do not think I would be effective in that position. My hubby with a glowing red face and the only speech from me is "slurp" "MMMMM" and a once in a while chin wipe. How constructive is that for everyone?-Caress

For the record, he proposed to me a week later and I said 'yes', so I wasn't all THAT pissed off... or I just cooled off after a week. However I did spend all day working on a 'Happy Steak and BJ Day' card since Hallmark seemed to be all out of them, and never really did get to give it to him. Maybe I can recycle it for this year?? :-)
