Which plane is this?

Looks like a picture of a Tandem Pair exiting a DHC-6 Twin Otter, but the picture has been "flipped" (photo-shopped), unless there is a Twin Otter out there somewhere with the cargo door on the right side of the airplane as opposed to the left. :S

:D

It's been reflected. Unless the DZ also invested in left-handed tandem rigs too, because the instructor has an alti on his right hand
It's all fun and until someone loses an eye... then it's just a game to find the eye

Flipping it wouldn't move the alti from one hand to the other.

Uh . . . yes it would.

If you exit a Twin Otter facing outward from the plane, which hand is closest to the wing and which is farthest away?

Now flip the picture left to right.

I was replying to what Cashmanimal said, that it's reflected because he has his altimeter on his right hand instead of his left. I wasn't referring to his exit position, just that reflecting the image won't remove the altimeter from his left hand and put it on his right. It looks to me like the hackey is still on the right side of the rig. If reflecting it moved the altimeter wouldn't it move the hackey also? I have also worn my altimeter on my right hand, usually if I know my Neptune battery is getting low, and also for night jumps.

Okay, according to Sdctlc it is reflected,my bad :$.

.

That pic is too small for me to see the "hackey" you spoke of. I can see that the red reserve handle is on the wrong side.:P Remember that the Sigma rigs have a deployment ball on each side, on the right is is low on the leg strap, on the left it is as the base of the container, opposite of where a pilot chute would be. When you flip a negative, everything is reversed, including words, handles, and door locations.

I was wrong. The thing I thought was a hackey could be the main pin flap sticking up. I like the little dingleball up by the RSL that looks like it smack you in the face the whole time.

I remember seeing this picture on a "Sky Ride " ad on the internet . I recall the green paint on the wings as not being right either. I called the 800 number to eat up their time and money. The girl answered she really didnt care if it was wrong and how soon I wanted to jump. I told her it was an insult to real skydivers to have pictures incorrectly printed. she said she could get me in a plane that weekend. Also did I want "Terrorist" insurance and bad weather insurance too.

Really? It's done all the time in magazines. They don't like to show planes flying off a page... it's awkward and draws the readers eyes in the wrong direction. They often flip images to the plane is flying toward the middle of the page. Same technique is used on web pages all the time. Used for cars too. I've never felt insulted by it.
