Muenkel 0 #1 February 24, 2009 I guess I could look it up but I want to announce my exciting news. My niece is due to give birth to a baby boy in June.If the proper term is 'great', I could already brag and claim that I am a great uncle to my 18 nieces and nephews. They all think I'm awesome. They may also be crazy. I don't feel old enough for this and my sister and her husband certainly don't look old enough to be grandparents. Hell, my parents don't look or act old enough to be great-grandparents. Anyway, I'm completely psyched! _________________________________________ Chris

kallend 2,154 #8 February 24, 2009 The genealogy purists use "grand". Then the following generation becomes great-grand, etc.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.

The grandma and grandpa to be are 47 & 48 respectively. My great/grand nephew will have a 5 year old uncle.JT, I have 7 siblings. Three of those siblings have 4 children each. _________________________________________ Chris
