Yes, last year but late in the season. Storm came through a week beforehand and at the top of the "cables" we turned around. Ice, no cramp-ons, made for a bad thing. Three of us and it was our first attempt so why push it

Thanks for the reminder. Like I said it was my first so it really was a learning experience as far as gear especially. Im going to hit the site and sign up myself. Just curious, when you going? A lot of folks make it a 1 day gig. Its a pretty busy trail peak season weekends. I like spending a couple days on the mountain. Have fun and be careful.

Its all good, I am already being used as a subject. I get an extra star sticker next to my name each time I come up on their list.

I am trying to make it a 4 day thing, rather than just one day. Camp at the trailhead the first night, second night at the upper campsite, 3rd day summit and return to camp, 4th day hike back out. If my lottery does not get filled, I may try to do it in one day, although that does sound like a pain. I sent in for the months of july and august, so it will be challenging to secure a date. We shall see!
