boinky 0 #1 March 3, 2009 Has anyone ever visited Medieval Times before? Can you tell me about it? And do you think that any of the "royalty" packages are necessary, particularly for the special seating in the front 1-3 rows?Nina Are we called "DAWGs" because we stick our noses up people's butts? LisaH 0 #2 March 3, 2009 I love that place! Don't spend any extra money for 'packages.' Just be sure to get a picture taken in costume when you get there. General admission is fine. Mid-section is best in my opinioin. You can see the show better. (Bring hand wipes ) Be yourself! MooOOooOoo
poe62 0 #3 March 3, 2009 I've been to the one in Dallas probably 20 times growing up...it's great for a first time visit especially with young people. They used to not charge so much for all the extras...or charge at all. The 1st few rows are fun so you're closer to the knights. They talk to you sometimes (or toss flowers and give the sash to you), and they can be funny depending on the actor.~Nikki http://www.facebook.com/poe62 Irgity Dirgity

BillyVance 35 #5 March 3, 2009 I only went to an outdoor medieval festival once, south of Atlanta maybe 10 years ago. I consumed an entire giant roasted turkey leg, watched a little jousting, a cool raptor show and other assorted attractions. For me personally, I would rather have a Steak and a BJ, and do something else. I had a blast. I think I just had the basic package - it was like $35-40 then.
boinky 0 #7 March 3, 2009 We're going to be taking my kids and son in law. One is 14. The rest are WELL over 21. It is rather pricey, but they offer a group of four package for $100 that isn't quite so bad. A nice dinner out would probably set us back as much. hottamaly 1 #9 March 3, 2009 It's allot of fun, especially if you like horses. I've been a few times and I don't think there is a bad seat. boinky 0 #11 March 3, 2009 You're undoubtedly talking about this. But we won't be in Georgia then, so my son suggested the restaurant instead. boinky 0 #12 March 3, 2009 For singles, it's $49.95 a person. But the group rate of four for $100 isn't so bad. Nina Are we called "DAWGs" because we stick our noses up people's butts? (RIP Buzz) Yep, you're a postwhore-billyvance
