peregrinerose 0 #1 March 10, 2009 I know this is a long shot, but if anyone on here has connections with the job market within a 40 mile or so radius of Harrisburg, PA, could you let me know? My husband (Skydivingchad) lost his job yesterday. He started out as a peon in the company at $11/hour, and over ten years worked his way up through the ranks and ended up as a supervisor making very good money. He knows he'll be starting all over again with an entry level position, but he has a great work ethic, learns fast, and is very mechanically inclined. He was a production supervisor for a company that subcontracted with the US Mint. Ughghghghgh. What crappy timing. We are in the process of adopting a 15 year old out of foster care. How can I break it to this kid? We'll still be adopting him, but things are going to be tight for us all for a while. shropshire 0 #2 March 10, 2009 I'm sure that the kid will just be happy to be with a loving family (I read some of the earlier posts). Good luck with the job hunting (.)Y(.)
