kelel01 1 #2 September 20, 2005 I don't know that I consider DaKine rags to be well made. Most DaKine suits I've seen up close are pretty "ragged" out. But other than that, I would still pick Ouragan . . . or Matter, because of both quality and look. I think Ouragan and Matter ff suits are the best looking, and they seem pretty durable. skybytch 273 #3 September 20, 2005 Chuck at DaKine makes a great suit but he often works on "aloha" time - so you might have a long wait and it can be hard to get ahold of him. Also the cool Hawaiian prints that I've seen on DaKine suits don't seem to be as durable as other fabrics. The only question I'd have about an Ouragon suit is how much drag do you need? AFAIK they don't do baggy suits. They do put out some very nice looking trim suits if you don't need/want a lot of drag and you've got the bucks to spend. Reasons: 1) Style 2) functionality 3) Design the way the cuffs on the wrists and ankles are velcroed can't be beat. 4) The prints are kick ass! I know a lot of people have trouble getting a hold of Chuck, personally i haven't had any trouble with him at all. diablopilot 2 #5 September 20, 2005 If I had to go with one I'd say the Ouragan, as the DaKine construction quality I've seen has been hit or miss. That said, Flite Suit builds a tough as nails suit, and Matter suits are pretty dang nice as well.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
