Broke 0 #1 March 25, 2009 I can't wait for may now. The dates for the Autocross events have been posted. Now it is time to really learn to drive. Quote2009 Solo II Schedule - All of NYR-SCCA's 2009 Solo events will be held at Nassau Coliseum Saturday, May 2 - Evolution School (stay tuned for details!) Sunday, May 31 - Points Event #1 Saturday, July 11 - Points Event #2 Saturday, August 8 - Points Event #3 Sunday, August 23 - Points Event #4 Saturday, September 12 - Points Event #5 Sunday, September 27 - Points Event #6 All events will be at Nassau Coliseum. With regards to the Evo School, this was just added to our (and their!) schedule in the past 6 hours. As it says above, stay tuned for details as Evo figures out what school they will be offering on that date. If someone out there is interested in being the event chair (or SSS) for this school, please contact me. Jennifer and I will be out of the country that weekend, so we'll need someone to step forward to make sure that the waivers get signed and stuff. There was a proposal brought to my attention a few weeks ago about changing the way that season points are tallied. I'm going to be setting up a Solo Town Hall meeting in early April, where we can discuss how we're going to score 2009 events towards a season championship. Again, stay tuned for details about the meeting date/location, show up, and be a part of the decision. Looking forward to seeing everyone out at the Coliseum for one or more events during the 2009 autox season..... -Arthur Emerson, 2009 NYR-SCCA Solo Chair Divot your source for all things Hillbilly.
