lawrocket 3 #3 April 10, 2009 This is aweful. I was following the game online last night (I'm an Angels fan) and this morning heard the news on Howard Stern. Six scoreless innings. Hours later he's gone through no fault of his own. 22 years old. This sucks. My wife is hotter than your wife.
bluskidave 0 #4 April 10, 2009 Pitches the best game of his major league career, 6 hours later Nick is gone. Live life to the max...you never know, Blues, Dave
Skydave103 0 #5 April 10, 2009 Hard to believe, he was on top the world for a few hours and to have it taken away so quickly. His parents have to be devastated! Only child with such a bright future. May he continue to play for the angles. RIPLifeshouldNOTbeajourneytothegravewithawellpreservedbody, buttskidinsideways, cigarinone hand, martiniintheother, bodythoroughlyused upandscreaming:"WOO HOO!! JohnRich 4 #6 April 10, 2009 There are 13,000 people killed every year in crashes involving an alcohol-impaired driver (BAC of .08 or higher). Every one is a tragedy, whether they are sports stars or not.

tumbler 0 #9 April 11, 2009 There is a story to every one of these.... but this one is just sadder than others as we hear about it. Fighting his way to make it to the show, and killed on opening night.. that is Shakespear sad right there...

hollypocket 0 #11 April 11, 2009 Murder is a right ruling. I've known 3 people killed by drunk drivers so everytime I hear a story about a celebrity who was doing the right thing and actually being a role model--whose killed by an average joe--it goes to show that no one is above anyone else. Shame. /\\>
