Andy_Copland 0 #1 April 14, 2009 Was walking around Cincy with a friend the other day and decided to head to the other side of the river to the city of Newport. Found a hole in the wall bar, you know the kind with a big metal sheeting door and couple of shady signs. Real pub for a change as it took a minute just to adjust to the light and find a stool. Got a couple of beers and started having a game of pool with my buddy (which i won twice might i add) when i heard a familiar accent, one of my countrymen was at the bar drunk as fuck talking away to someone about fucking pirates or some shit. So i put my pool cue down, stand directly behind him, tap him on the shoulder and in my most angry, drunken, bigot Kentucky accent said "Your kind aint welcome 'round these parts." He swings around with the look of a very confused man who is trying to work out if hes gonna have to raise his fists or not. Now at this point i let the joke go and say "Only joking mate, nice to hear a familiar accent" but it didnt go down so well, he was still confused and must have thought i was now mocking him. After a few seconds he realised i was fucking around and had a laugh with it, all the while my friend is crying with laughter in the corner thinking i was about to get punched in the face. Josh Cook, if you read this, you can't play pool for shit. 1338 People aint made of nothin' but water and shit. Until morale improves, the beatings will continue.
