EXACT same thing happened to me. my buddy's goal was to ultimately wingsuit off half dome. he quit after about a year and 45 skydives... to train for MMA which he quit after a year... to learn to race street bikes, which he sold his CBR after 7 months... to start selling a hawaiian brand of sandals in the continental US, which he sold for $500 to another frat bro after a year... to start growing (something sticky...) in norcal, which he sold his equipment after 9 months... last i heard he was considering a pilot's license which i advised him to stay away from. edit: 3 years later I'm still jumpin So there I was...
