MEN: Ever given a love-letter??

Recommended Posts

oh god loads.

i remember buying a fountain pen especially, then putting alsorts of stupid little trinkets i liked and drawings with the letter, into a jiffy bag, then decorating the whole jiffy bag was decorated with gold and silver pen swirls all over it which took about two days to do.

i cut myself and put blood on the letter, seemed like a good idea at the time, also my fav aftershave, maybe there was a chemical reaction and the whole package exploded in transport... if it did she did a good job of putting it all back together.

she made me a heart shaped box, actually made it, filled it with random things, perfume..

still miss her.

"Superstitious" is just a polite way of saying "incredibly fucking stupid".

I have yet to meet a woman who hasn't kept and treasured a love-letter she got once-upon-a-time...

So True. :)
I was dating a guy, who despite his rough tough exterior used to send me the sweetest notes, texts, and emails. I saved most of them and was creating a scrapbook of it all to give back to him for our six month ann (I know cheesey) - he dumped me 2 weeks before then. I still have the uncompleted scrap book!

I was going to burn it, however someone managed to talk me out of it. Although it sits in a box and never to be seen again, I know that it was a very lovely time in my life!

My husband always writes the most beautiful words, and I save all of his cards too! B| He wrote me a poem when we first starting dating that I cherish!

The love letters I like best aren't particularly sappy, they're just sincere. Something that is personal and heart-felt means more to me than a goopy attempt at "poetic" or romantic. Those are the things I remember and cherish.

SOOO true.. My most cherished love-letter isn't poetic at all.. It's just the only one my ex gave me.. And it's simple, but heart-felt. Must have read it about a billion times..

Isn't this a sign that she's got a great man and wants to brag to all her girlfriends?

Am I missing the point??

If the point is a personal relationship that only two
people share, yes.

The guy you fancy doesn't need to write you a love letter. He has you so what's the point?

HUH?? Seriously?? The point is it's meaningful and sweet.. Just because you "have" someone doesn't mean you can't do something really sweet for them. I *constantly* hear women complain that their man isn't romantic anymore.. Courting shouldn't be limited to just "getting" the girl - it should continue to *keep* her!! :)..

And I hear guys all the time complain about how their wife has packed on a few pounds and who just isn't willing to give a three way with a stripper a try!
So I say hit if the ladies are willing to hit the gym and give the three way with the Brazilian stripper a try then yes we men will write amazing love letters!
:P
Life through good thoughts, good words, and good deeds is necessary to ensure happiness and to keep chaos at bay.

The only thing that falls from the sky is birdshit and fools!
