BillyVance 35 #26 April 29, 2009 A quirky funny off-the-wall screwball movie to watch would be "Moving Violations". futuredivot 0 #29 April 29, 2009 QuoteIt has gotten very little mention but, an inspirational movie to watch would be "Running Brave". It's a true story about an American Indian named Billy Mills who becomes a runner, gets into college and runs on the cross country and track teams, facing discrimination and racism along the way, becomes an All-American, and then goes to the Tokyo Olympics where he wins the gold medal in the 10,000 meters. But since you've posted the whole story there's no need to watch the movie. Unless the soundtrack kicks ass and you can't review that for us.You are only as strong as the prey you devour

wolfriverjoe 1,523 #46 April 29, 2009 QuoteOk,I need some suggestions for some good movie to watch. Whatever genre, just as long as they are worth watching Bry and Christine Any of Quentin Tarentino's films (including the ones he didn't direct) Watch the director's comments and the "Making of" segments to understand a little about Tarentino. He's an amazing film buff. Resivoir Dogs Pulp Fiction Jackie Brown Kill Bill 1&2 True Romance From Dusk til Dawn (there's another one I can't remember) Any of Mel Brooks films Silent Movie Young Frankenstein Blazing Saddles The Producers There are others I can't remember- the only one I don't like is Spaceballls The Gene Wilder/Richard Pryor comedies Silver Streak Stir Crazy See No Evil Hear No Evil Most of the Kevin Smith films Clerks (1&2) Mallrats Chasing Amy Dogma (make sure you can laugh at Christianity if you watch it) Any Sergio Leone "Spagetti Western" Not going to list them all. That's a short list off the top of my head."There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit." JohnMitchell 16 #49 April 29, 2009 Quote Mamma MIA Vskydiver has that show, and I never before knew you could wear out a DVD.I shouldn't say that. It's a good chick flick. So is The Notebook and Sleepless in Seattle, and An Affair to Remember. We like a lot of the classics, practically anything with Audrey Hepburn, Cary Grant, or Gregory Peck. Although he's played a wide range of characters, almost any Clint Eastwood movie is a fav, esp. the original Dirty Harry. Other favorites: Patton, Cool Hand Luke, Hud, Airplane, Armies of Darkness, Tora Tora Tora, Clerks (I & II), Office SpacePushing Tin and Terminal Velocity are my favorite documentaries. 1969912 0 #50 April 30, 2009 Last night I watched one that I would never have bothered with - based on the title - until someone commented a bit on it and got me curious. Really glad I watched it. Try "The Wrestler". Edit: Probably not a kids movie...
