chiquita24 0 #1 May 4, 2009 Thought I'd post this workout on here for anyone who's interested. A few weeks ago Jillian talked about the Deck of Cards workout. I've done it a few times and it's kicked my ass. Here it is: Shuffle a deck of card, each suit has a different exercise and you do the number of repetitions that the card says Face cards-10 reps Ace-1 min break Diamonds-pushups Hearts-Lunges Spades-crunches Clubs-reverse crunches Have fun! eeneR 3 #10 May 5, 2009 Here is a good list of some tricep exercise. I really like the work I get from doing the Skull Crushers. These are best done with a barbell, but you might be able to do them with dumbells. She is not a "Dumb Blonde" - She is a "Light-Haired Detour Off The Information Superhighway." eeneR TF#72, FB#4130, Incauto
npgraphicdesign 3 #11 May 5, 2009 If you have no access to weights, try the following: http://www.gain-weight-muscle-fast.com/close-grip-push-ups.html Close-grip pushups - first try them from your knees, then switch to the normal pushup position (with legs fully extended), then elevate your legs using a bench or a chair to give the muscles a bit more workout. http://www.personalbodyprecision.com/pbp_exercises/pbp_tricep_dip2.jpg Tricep bench dips - first you can start off by resting your feet on the floor, then you can increase difficulty by elevating your feet with another bench (or chair if you're working out at home). For an even more difficult variation, try both of the above exercises while resting your feet (for the first exercise) and hands (for the second exercise) on a medicine ball. That will really force you to work those smaller stabilizer muscles that are sometimes ignored during typical workouts.
