Cutaway68 4 #1 May 20, 2009 Anyone else think is funny (strange not haha) that there is a death row newsletter? Probably has a fairly limited subscription base. http://www.columbiatribune.com/news/2009/may/19/first-lethal-injection-in-nearly-four-years/ "Skillicorn has assisted with terminally ill prisoners, a family-strengthening program for inmates and their children, a national death row newsletter and efforts to set juvenile offenders straight — a contrast with his personal history." Don't Pull Low... Unless You ARE!!! The pessimist says, "It can't get any worse than this." The optimist says, "Sure, it can." Be fun, have safe. JohnRich 4 #2 May 20, 2009 Quotea national death row newsletter Source: http://www.ncadp.org/index.cfm?content=14 There are about 3,500 death row prisoners in America. (http://www.project.org/info.php?recordID=455) Add to that their concerned families and friends. Throw in hundreds of activists working to abolish the death penalty. Add a bunch of lawyers who work death penalty cases. You might get to a circulation of 10,000. It's only quarterly, and only a few pages, and available online, so publishing & distribution costs are small. Maybe they should have some tips, like: - How to stay in shape by running a marathon in an 8' x 6' cell. - Making a shiv out of a toothbrush. - Protecting your toilet paper from other cell mates.
