Cashmanimal 0 #1 May 29, 2009 Her name is Elisa Parhad, and her book just got released. Why do I care so much? Because her book contains MY photographs! I was surprised by a large envelope in my mailbox this morning which contained my copy of the book. Woo hoo! Attached proof that I'm in it, as well as my favorite photograph they used... Also, the book is a fun read, especially if you're from NM.It's all fun and until someone loses an eye... then it's just a game to find the eye

Cashmanimal 0 #4 May 29, 2009 Of course! i got a bit distracted by the attachment upload.... It's called "New Mexico: A Guide For the Eyes" http://www.amazon.com/New-Mexico-Guide-Elisa-Parhad/dp/0982049706 I consider this to be a great compliment, as books that revolve around a specific location usually contain very high caliber photographs. Anyone who knows NM knows it is among the most beautiful places in the world, so to have my photos published in a book about NM means a lot to me!It's all fun and until someone loses an eye... then it's just a game to find the eye

I lived there for 4 years and it is truly hard to beat. Not only is it a beautiful sight for the eyes...it ain't bad for the tongue, either. damned if i don't long for fresh roasted green chiles every fall... NM cuisine is the best in the US, hands down.Never meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup!
