3-way - quid pro quo?

Recommended Posts

After dinner with a few close female friends (from outside the skydiving community) last weekend, one of them asked for input (essentially advice) on an ongoing discussion with her boyfriend. He asked if she would be willing to have a 3-way with another woman. She’s game to try … but she wants him to be willing to take part in a 3-way with another man too.

They’re both in their mid-thirties. They’ve been living together for a few years and dating for about five years.

So what do you think? Reasonable request? Outrageous? Curious what others might have suggested, especially the guys.

Sounds reasonable to me, if it's something that they both really want to do - not just one agreeing to do it because the other really wants to.

I'm sure they both realize that there are risks involved, so I guess they just have to decide if they think it will be worth it.

Reasonable request- good for the goose and all that- but I agree with the "doomed relationship" comment also. I don't think too many couples can survive bringing 3rd parties into their beds without jealousy, insecurity and other issues. Sure there are exceptions, but they are exceptions ..............

um....sounds like a doomed relationship.

+ 1

A friend of mine and his wife were swingers. His now ex-wife ended up privately banging one of the guys they would swing with, without telling my friend.

Lots of drama ensued... and now he doesn't go to the same swing parties anymore... :D

Well, I think that the couples who bring 3rd parties into their beds are exceptions to begin with. And I think we're all more likely to hear about the ones that don't work out than the ones that do - drama and all that.

I don't know. It certainly has the potential to go horribly wrong, but it also has the potential to make them closer - if it's something that they are both truly interested in and OK with.

Personally, most of my experiences with jealousy have had little or nothing to do with actual sex.

Which? Banging the other guy, or the drama? :P

Only 1 man in a 3-way.:|

I guess I am old fashion but I have to agree with you. The first thought that pops in my mind when someone says three way would be 1guy and 2 women.

Got a friend? :$:$:$

Actually if you want to have 3 ways it should go both ways, Im not saying you gotta be gay or anything but if having a nekkid guy there freaks you out then you prolly aint ready for swinging!
