iluvtofly 0 #4 May 29, 2009 I don't remember the first couple of days after I got mine out. The only thing that really sucked was I got mine out right before the county fair. So no fair food for me. On the last night though I said screw it and ate a huge plate of chili cheese fries. Ripped out most of my stitches (which actually didn't hurt). LisaH 0 #5 May 29, 2009 It's not that bad. Don't listen to the horror stories. Follow the instruction care after the procedure and you'll be fine. I asked for 800mg Motrin over Vicoden or Darvocet.Be yourself! MooOOooOoo

chiquita24 0 #9 May 29, 2009 It's not too bad. Take the pain meds they give you!! And ice ice ice! I kept ice on my face frequently and I never swelled up or bruised at all! The hardest part for me was eating. It took me quite a few weeks before I could eat anything solid without it hurting.

I didn't & ended up with a "dry socket" because of it. Believe me, you DON'T want to learn what a dry socket is because the first & only thing I remember about it is pain. Relentless pain for days on end is no fun, especially when coupled with starvation. I'd say something about "now being the perfect time to quit" but having quit myself just 6 months ago, I won't. You'll do it when YOU want to. Good luck. When the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail.

The_Don 0 #20 June 1, 2009 No. They were rotten. Stroke of genius! I had my wife light two cigs, I went in the smallest bathroom. put them across from each other in a ashtray, set them between my feet, sat on the toilet & hung my head in rising plume! Worked like a charm!!! I am NOT being loud. I'm being enthusiastic!
