My woman and I were walking back to our car from the beach, about ready to cross the quiet street.

A Jeep wrangler drove by and 3 younger guys were in there all with no shirts on.

The one sitting up high in the back pointed at her and said "You're hot," and continued by.

She tried to blow it off, but I could tell she liked it.

I was pretty sure they were gay and referring to me, but I let here have that one.

Weird, two weeks in Italy and Vskydiver didn't get one inappropriate anything from the locals. Seriously.

I was always within arm's length, so maybe that had something to do with it. Maybe they don't like blondes?

I'm guessing it was you and I'm pretty sure they DO like blondes over there. (and brunettes, redheads, etc......) When I was in Italy many years ago, it wasn't the locals who were inappropriate.

I got hollered at in Paris, which I found rather surprising after so long of not being hollered at in London.. Some nationalities are a bit more vocal than others. I did smile a bit, but only after an appropriate amount of time, so that like a naughty child he would get the message that it was "not amusing"!!!

As for the OP - you're probably kidding yourself.. You didn't "give" her anything - sounds to me like she *earned* it herself!!

Don't really know what made them holler - wasn't wearing makeup or anything out of the ordinary (black slacks and a boring black top). For all I know they were appreciating someone else, but as there were no witnesses I will claim the compliment as mine

To top it all off, many of you skydiving women have that certain je ne sais quoi that makes you stand out from the whuffo world. Confidence, coolness, joie de vivre? I don't know, but it's there.

Let me tell you this way:

If you are to be in the company of a beautiful girl or woman, in the streets of Rome in summer, be well armed with patience.
They were so not afraid to express their admiration in pure Italian with huge smile.

I figured it is unorthodox but clearly appropriate according to their tradition.
I don't have to tell you how good she felt.
I swear it was like twenty times, empty city, hollidays,
but "ché donna graziosa" in variety of forms you could hear.

small edit: I'm 6'7" 215 lb , they don't care
