RALFFERS 0 #1 June 16, 2009 It has been 3 years since I've been in a college classroom, & as of this morning I need to retake the most basic of algebra classes (I was looking at some chemistry). I was never great at math, so it's no surprise that I forgot so much so quickly. Then again, maybe forgetting something like this is normal if oyu don't use it for a while. How much do algebra & the alike do you remember? No matter what, I'm determined to get good at math & accomplish what I've set out to accomplish! I think I'm still somewhat OK with Algebra... i was tossing around the idea of going back to school for my master's in engineering - the thought of relearning all that math after about 8 years of not doing any math is what's keeping me from exploring it further.... But it came back reasonably fast, and lots of it was more of a review than learning something new. Best advice I can give is to do the homework, whether you have to turn it in or not. I could probably do most things still, but not be able to tell you all the intermediate steps, given that I don't process it that way anymore. However, I found my senior thesis cleaning my apartment yesterday and yeah, shit looks like greek to me.
