nuked 3 day old pizza is kinda gross though... :D

Revive your pizza!

1) Oven on 350
2) Wet paper towel (So it is damp - not dripping) on a flat baking pan
3) Add thin layer of cheese on top, + any other topping you want
4) Bake for 5 minutes
5) Remove paper towel
6) Pizza backl in oven, either on baking pan, or directly on rack for 3 more minutes -
7) Fresh Pizza again

Thanks for the tip, Turtle. :)

It's not 100% of fresh Pizza - but it 1000 x better than what it would be if you ate it just like that.

I have a toaster oven; it's perfect for pizza. Pop it in, and when it comes out the bread is nice and crispy on the bottom, and the toppings are nice and melted. You can add more cheese if you want.

There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. (tbrown)

If you ever want to try pizza that comes out of the oven that way, & you're in or near NJ, let me know. There's a pizza shop in Trenton that rates in the top 10 nationally for thin-crust (couple years ago they were rated 2nd behind an ancient place in NYC). It's visually one of the ugliest pizzas you'll ever see, it's crispy on the bottom, bubbled on top, kinda round, & there's always a small piece cut-out of the middle, but it's heavenly. They've been in this location for at lest 60 years, & on Friday & Saturday evenings there can be lines up to 25 people long waiting to get in, STANDING IN THE RAIN!

Yea, the one in the 'Burg on, what is it, Revere? [edit] Nope, Hudson near Swan! NOT the one in Robbinsville!

Some day I'll tell the story about the New Mexico gal having her first "tomato pie" in Trenton.
