Andy_Copland 0 #1 June 21, 2009 Went to Ithaca and have to say it was a mix of good and bad. People not as friendly at all, hiking a trail and rarely you'd get acknowledged or hear a hello. Everything is expensive so i decided to take a tent and camp it, i wasnt about to pay the prices they wanted for a super motel 8 Now the bads out the way. the good parts. I didnt have to search hard to find a good place to eat, the food was incredible (especially the crab meat) and the beer was also just as good. They had an Ithaca Pale ale which went down really good with my food. Was nice to see a state i haven't seen before and the landscape was amazing 1338 People aint made of nothin' but water and shit. Until morale improves, the beatings will continue.
druvaughn 0 #2 June 21, 2009 Having spent 4 years in college in Ithaca, I must admit a large amount of jealousy that you got to spend time there... I will echo the great food, and am so fond of many of the gorges (GREAT photo)! Glad you had a good trip. Best, Dru- - "Baseball is 90% mental. The other half is physical." Most Ivy Leaguers sometimes can be a little on the cold intellectual side- she works there that's how I know. Anyway,Where was the pic taken? looks like a cool place to mtn bike. Beautiful lakes region -I'ts also wine country out there......"I'm not drinking f&*king Merlot!" Beware of the collateralizing and monetization of your desires.
