OlympiaStoica 0 #8 June 22, 2009 0:0:0 As I said, I'm not having a great summer. It's been raining outside for a month, but love wise I'm going through a long dry spell (apparently girls in cast are not that sexy). Still no jumping yet - cast is coming off this week, but both ankles are very stiff - starting physical therapy on July 6th. O
iambeav2 0 #9 June 22, 2009 :10:Wonderful part in my life: 8 tandems, 2 high wind loads. Took a downwinder on a 24 knot gust...man was THAT fun!!!:and first time being thrown up on by a tandem student. Glad I finally got that outta the way!! Whew! Oh, and first time I saw "someone" in my home town, a bit ways away from theirs...wanting very badly to beat their ass for talking shit....and just keeping my cool. Is that beer worthy too?...it's not the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until it's gone...it's the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until someone appreciates it for you! grannyinthesky 0 #11 June 22, 2009 0:6;0 The weekend was a nice ending to my break between quarters. Saturday I stopped by the dz and got on the first load of the day (working on trying to sitfly. Who woulda thunk sitting could be so challenging?) then off to the college for 3 math presentations and a quick performance with our college summer band. Then back to the dz for more jumps. Altogether during the nine days I had off,, I skydived on eight of them and did 26 jumps altogether. A friend reminded me of how long it took to get my first 26 skydives........... about 7 months---- it sucks to start AFF in winter in Idaho---- "safety first... and What the hell..... safety second, Too!!! airathanas 0 #12 June 22, 2009 Wow Granny, you're past 300 already? You waste no time, do you?: 7: 0 I did 6 tandems and one video. My boyfriend took his Mom for a tandem and she had a blast! I videoed and took stills. No jumping on Sunday because we had to take her back to the airport, which is very far away from the dropzone. http://3ringnecklace.com/

NWFlyer 2 #24 June 22, 2009 7.4:0:0 7.4 mile hike at Point Reyes yesterday, and a beautiful weekend of relaxing, getting shit done, spending time with my sweetie, and enjoying the natural beauty of Northern California away from the dropzone. Now I'm all recharged to boogie for four days at the American Boogie next weekend. "There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please.
