Bing is Microsoft's new search engine.

Thanks. I did not know that.

Regardless; the toolbar is ugly and clashes with Yahoo's. It needs to go. :D jk

I wasn't sure where it came from and got worried.

I have a Dell now.

Do you like it? We hate our Dells! I was just cursing mine for the last hour. It freezes up and goes to a black screen and then won't come on again for a long time. I never had a computer do this in all the work or home computers I've ever had. The other one we have never shuts up, it makes such a racket. Grrrr...I'll never buy Dells again. Sorry for my rant!

I've had it for 5 years with no problems. The hard drive sounds like it's about to go out soon. That's the only racket I've heard lately.

It's the stupid stuff I do with the internet that is the problem.

If you click 'Next' while installing things without actually reading what it says then you are apt to get things you don't want.

It is an unfortunate thing but advertisers pay good money to have the defaults set too install 'extra' software. All you have to do is pay attention before clicking that little button.

There was a time when Dell was really good quality. Not anymore. Gateway went the same route, even before Dell did. Dell still has pretty good customer service if you get the protection plan.

Push for Sony Vaio. Yes, they're expensive! The level of frustration they will save everyone is worth it. Customer service isn't as good, but you don't use it as much.

I wish most professional environments allowed for Apple, because they are also pretty good.
