My hat's off.

So, this is the first "annual" observance over there, correct? Will this be a national holiday?

The US observes its Armed Forces Day on the third Saturday of May.

I salute anyone with the balls to do for others what they would never dare do for themselves.

Being a Veteran I never go a day without thinking about how much has been sacrificed so we can live our lives out relatively free.

For me (also as a vet') it's not just about balls etc.. because there are onloy a very small number of folks in the military that are in 'harms way' ... but it's about serving, doing a job that is of value to the country. I personally don;t want to be smacked on the back or have my habd shaked but, collectively the group should be thanked and that's what it;s all about, in my book.

Thanks you lot - each and everyone - without exception and without regard to role or rank.
