wildfan75 1 #1 June 30, 2009 I just started a new job and they have a tradition that every new employee must make lunch for everyone during their first couple weeks. I work for a food distributor so I can pull all the products from stock. The idea is that I have to stand in line and introduce myself to everyone, even those that I've already met and work directly with. I would love to cook some fancy meal and woo them, but I have to do all the cooking myself (so it has to be manageable) and I don't want to cook something too good that I get roped into cooking for everyone all the time. So above are my three game plans thus far. What should I cook? Or post if you have another viable option! Thanks for your imput!
AggieDave 6 #2 June 30, 2009 Go the Meximerican route and fuse the styles together. Make something like a taco casserole. Or even futher is "Mexican Lasagna" which is another fun but tasty thing to make.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." micduran 0 #3 June 30, 2009 Go Mexican. While you are putting the tacos together you can get them talking, too, by asking what they like. Have chicken, meat, beans, etc. Be mindful that some people might be vegetarian. You'll win big points if you keep that in mind.Be patient with the faults of others; they have to be patient with yours.
