Recommended Posts

How many of you have been asked while viewing your skydives how you keep up with the airplane? :S

Today im at work, watching my last 10 skydives, and seeing where i can improve and think about it some more. 3 different people walked by and saw me watching it. Then they asked how i kept up with the plane!!! :S:S

But i got major propage for being a skydiver!! :DB|;)

When I used to keep a few skydiving pictures on my desk, people would ask how they took the pictures- from the ground or did the pilot take them from the plane? ;)

I tell them I let a stills camera go when I'm in freefall and it gets a little chute of its own.

What do you mean by "keep up with the airplane"?
Vertical descent rate?
Horizontal forward-throw speed?

They thought my instructor was in the airplane and i was flying with the airplane. how they could even come to that conclusion, i dont know!

And they wonder why we say "the drive home is more dangerous.":S:P

It's 2009 and you know why we don't have flying cars yet? Because these people can't drive a freakin car on the ground yet. That's why.:S

:D Like we're going to give them flying cars.:D:|

Ok back to the topic: A smarter person would ask: "How does the the PLANE keep up with YOU?"
