npgraphicdesign 3 #4 July 13, 2009 shropshire, those photos look great! My weekend was great as well. Got my new used canopy and did 2 jumps...1 plane, 1 helicopter. BEER!

npgraphicdesign 3 #6 July 13, 2009 Quote Thanks (I'll post some more in my own thread, tommorow) ... how did you enjoy the helicopter? - If the jumps cost the same as airplane jumps and not 50 a pop, I'd have done 3 or 4.

Balloon operator: "Hey what's that thing on your back?" Me: "That? um...err...that's my backpack...yea...hey what's that over there?" Balloon operator: "I don't see anyth..hey where'd he go???" DavidB 0 #10 July 13, 2009 I'm sure everyone is curious about the sub-frame connectors I made for a 1984 AMC Eagle wagon this weekend. When the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail.

DavidB 0 #12 July 13, 2009 Passenger side: 2"X3"X1/8" The front butts to the back of the front frame section. The rear is parallel with the front of the rear frame rails (spring eye is top-left of last pic). They are mostly inside, maintaining ground clearance. Everything is made, cleaned, painted & ready for installation tomorrow. Some more reinforcements (in the form of 1X1 tubes) is planned for the front of the rocker to the front frame rail & floor. Otherwise the chassis is all poly bushings, sway bars front & rear, & HD springs. I've already modified a pair of Koni shocks to fit the front (I think the rear uses 1st or 2nd Gen Camaro/Nova shocks) & a 2nd Gen Z-28 P/S box is a bolt-on. Engine will be a slightly modded 258 (4.2L) I-6, 700R4 trans, 2-speed transfer case, 3.55:1 gears "Twin Grip" AMC 35 rear (with custom 1-piece axles), & Dana 30 front diff. When the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail.
