Conundrum 1 #1 July 17, 2009 We finally got our 135 (Air Carrier) Certificate from the FAA. We spent 2 1/2 years in the pre-certification process before we got the phone call we were next on the list to begin certification. It has been 6 weeks of back and forth with the FAA but we were issued our certificate today.

jumpwally 0 #6 July 17, 2009 Congrats, but what exactly does it mean? Why did it take so long ? Does this help your flight school ? I know,i know,,too many questions...i bored ,sorrysmile, be nice, enjoy life FB # - 1083
Conundrum 1 #7 July 17, 2009 A 135 certificate means that we can now do aircraft charter. Basically, people can now pay us to fly them somewhere. The flight school can only teach people to fly or rent the aircraft to pilots. The charter will not be mixed in with the flight training, they are 2 separate corporations, though both owned and operated by us. It takes so long because it's the FAA. Conundrum 1 #10 July 17, 2009 I haven't been able to jump in a couple years. I'm sooooo wanting to get up there. Having a kid, starting two businesses, and going to school, hasn't really afforded me the time or money to jump.
